A former electrical engineer who spent years designing microchips before making what colleagues described as “a completely irrational career change” into owning a craft brewery. The obsessive attention to detail translates surprisingly well to beer, and the office has better views.
He makes sure Searchlight stays independent, genuine and always worth the detour.
Ash
Our head brewer and co-owner is the reason what is in your glass is as good as it is. Ash constantly refines, experiments and pushes to make better beer, from John Beer and Champagne Pilsner to a handpull range brewed with a nod to classic pub traditions.
His connection to Queenstown shows up in every batch he brews.
